At Queen Mary Avenue Infant and Nursery School, we work closely with our families and the wider community to give the children the very best start possible. We recognise that children learn best when they are working in a calm, safe environment, taking part in learning tasks which are interesting and enjoyable. Higher Level Teaching Assistant
The children, staff and governing body of Queen Mary Infant and Nursery School are seeking to appoint an inspirational and committed HLTA to join our happy, nurturing and inclusive school. The successful candidate will be responsible for pupils’ learning in a range of classroom settings across the school, working with individual pupils, groups or whole classes for PPA cover, teacher release and short term absence. This is a permanant postion for 32.5 hours per week with a salary of £26, 470 (pro-rata)
The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a range of experience across the infant and nursery age range
Be organised and able to effectively manage timetables
Value the importance of teamwork and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Be committed and hard-working, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our pupils
Have a positive outlook and the ability to enthuse and motivate children
Hold a HLTA qualification/equivalent or be willing to undertake relevant training
